Caustic Soda

Sodium hydroxide, also known as caustic soda or lye, is a strong alkali with the chemical formula NaOH. It is an ionic compound consisting of a sodium (Na⁺) cation and hydroxide (OH⁻) anion. Caustic Soda Flake is a solid, white, odorless material that is available in flake or granular form. It is highly hygroscopic and should be stored and transported in laminated bags or jumbo bags to avoid moisture absorption.

Formalin

Formaldehyde, a pungent gas, is the most important commercial aldehyde and the simplest member of the aldehyde family with the chemical formula CH2O. It is also known as methanal, its solution is called formalin and is available as 37% solution.

Applications
• As a raw material for production of different types of urea formaldehyde resin, melamine formaldehyde resin, phenol formaldehyde resin and concrete super plasticizer.
• As an antiseptic in hospitals, cattle breeding centers, contaminated public places, sugar industries and sanitary detergents.

Paraformaldehyde

Paraformaldehyde is the concentrated formaldehyde with easier transportation and longer storage stability in comparison to formalin solution. It is available as white powder with 95% formaldehyde content.

Applications

• As a raw material in the manufacturing of urea formaldehyde resin, melamine formaldehyde resin, phenol formaldehyde resin and concrete super plasticizer.

• As an antiseptic in hospitals, cattle breeding centers, contaminated public places, sugar industries and sanitary detergents.

Sodium sulfate

Sodium sulfate’s chemical formula is NA2SO4 and is obtained from the Garmab and Miqan mines with 26% to 32% purity. After transportation to the company’s production complexes, it is purified and converted into sodium sulphate with above-99% purity.

Sodium Sulfide (Sodium Sulphur)

Sodium Sulfide, with the chemical formula Na₂S, is a highly reactive chemical compound produced in various forms such as liquid, flakes, and lumps. Due to its unique properties, it holds significant importance in various industries. Sodium Sulfide reacts rapidly when exposed to water, moisture, or air, potentially releasing toxic and dangerous hydrogen sulfide gas (H₂S). Therefore, this material must be stored in dry conditions, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
This compound is used in the mining industry for sulfidization and enhancing the hydrophobicity of minerals in the flotation process, in the leather industry as a sulfitizing agent for hair removal from animal hides, and in the textile industry as a bleaching agent. Additionally, it is widely used in the Kraft process in papermaking, detergent production, dye manufacturing, water treatment, and oil extraction.

Urea Formaldehyde Adhesive ( Powder )

Powdered urea formaldehyde adhesive is used as liquid adhesive after mixing with water. This product is preferred to liquid resin where production runs are infrequent and longer storage life is needed.
